Gavin has had quite the baking month already.
He recently got to decorate fall cookies with Ella.
And a week later enjoyed a cookie baking day with Mommy.
You can tell he is quite excited. He must has said the word "cookie" a hundred times on Thursday.
Pure sweetness!!!
Just a thought, if baking with kiddos seems daunting:
I have found it helpful to set him up with his own baking space at our kitchen table (while I work at the counter) to give him the 1/4 cup measuring cup, 1/8 teaspoon, a small whisk and a metal bowl along with the chance to scoop some flour and another ingredient into his bowl. (This time it was flour and ground coffee). He will stir and stir and then start dumping it out around the time I've finished the real batch of cookies. For these cookies I had him dump in the chocolate chips too, since that was a doable task for little man. It makes very little mess and is super easy to sweep up... in fact, I even let him try his hand at that part too.
Pure sweetness!
