This Winter/Spring we've spent many Saturdays going to the park as a family. G takes full advantage of showing his Daddy new tricks. It is an added plus that we get to soak in this BEAUTIFUL spring weather! It is so lovely!
Last Saturday we decided to go out for donuts... a Smith Family first and you may guess what little guy thought of this basket of treats.
I think he was amazed that such deliciousness could exist!
He liked his mini-donut just fine, but LOVED the donut holes and gobbled them each up in one big bite. The donut shop we went to also had a train running on tracks up near the ceiling. G could not get enough of pointing at it and telling us all about how excited he was!
After donuts we went to the park and G tried out some new things.
And then the inevitable happened.
A bruise.
Sadly it was while I was trying to help him climb up a tall step in the play gym :(

David, immediatly coined it as our "Saturday Thing". It's sad but true. Little man has taken quite a few tumbles. Take 3 Saturdays ago for instance...
Luckily, it didn't put a damper on our fun. He jumped back up and went down the slide with me!
He loves his rocks! This one was quite the feat to pick up!!
He is a delight, bruises and all :)
