16 months old!

* favorite phrase: "yeah, Yeah, YEAH!"
 

* Singing "Yes, Jesus loves" either unprompted or in unison we me during the chorus of the Jesus Loves Me song.

* Listening to Toby Mac---no, really. He has preferred him for a long time.  After downloading the Christmas CD I am now sure he is a fan of Mr. Mac. Gavin smiles and claps whenever my ipod shuffles onto Toby.  And then he starts dancing!

* He has become a cuddle bug again. For about a month he was not into long cuddles; but now he is my little snuggler again! And I LOVE it!

 

* Playing with q-tips = the face of guilt

 yes, mommy.  you caught me in the cabinet. again. 

oh.  your smiling.  it must be ok.  cool.

* Watching Daddy on the patio

* He has learned how to take off his clothes.  He enjoys removing his socks and just recently decided he does not need his pants either.

 * Drumming on our coffee table while drinking milk & water.

* He has learned how to get off the couch, our bed, chairs...

* He loves bath time!  He crawls from his high chair to the bathroom after dinner.  I'll start the water when he is finishing up dinner and as soon as I get him out of the high chair he rushes towards the sound of the running water.  This is one of my favorite things to watch!

* He helped decorate for Christmas.  There is a tub of some leftover things that I did not put out so that he could pull them out and play with them.  He loves playing with our extra plastic hooks for attaching lights to the roof and reeds of holly.

  * Pulling the reindeer off the shelf.  A daily occurrence as if to tell me that they belong on the floor.

* He loves helping unfold laundry and play in hampers.

 * Loves loves loves walking under the kitchen table from chair to chair.

* He is a great eater

* His bongos are the most popular toy.

 

Being a mom to a 16 month old is AWESOME!  Sooo much fun!
