I thought it would be fun to bake some cookies when Miss Ella came over last night. But I had no idea that refrigerated cookie dough could bring such joy!
Ella, being a polite little girl, asked David if she could touch the cookies too.
they both started trying to eat the dough so we whisked the baking sheets away
When I took the baking sheets to put them in the oven both little ones became quite sad. Gavin gave me the saddest look as if all the joy in life was suddenly gone. He even put his head in his hands very dramatically. So we distracted the little babes with a break to put on pjs and sing songs. I think it may have been the longest 10 minutes in their little lives :) Both of them kept circling into the kitchen staring at the oven... I am not kidding :)
Then suddenly joy was back on their little faces! Their very own cookies before bedtime!
I must admit I really really like these cheap little cookies in the chillers at the grocery store. They are just so yummy and they hit the spot for a holiday treat and little ones seem to love them too!
