Two weekends ago we joined my parents and my sister's family at a lakehouse for a family vacation! We had a great view of the lake and a pool. We spent some time on the lake, at the pool, grilling out and lounging together.
Joshua loved jumping into the pool and showed NO fear of the water. Gavin also tried to do some independent swimming but I did my best to keep hold of my little dare devil.
My parents brought matching shirts for the little ones to wear and they looked super cute!
David and I went jet skying with my dad and Eric while the little ones stayed in a make-shift baby pool on our balcony.
Lots of wonderful lounging occured.
And cousin bonding-no one taught Joshua to pinch cheecks, he just tends to try it out each time we are with him; it's pretty cute and I can't blame him considering that I like to pinch G's chubby cheecks too!
Being the crazy aunt that I am, I brought more confetti eggs on this trip-which seems to thrill J&J... and I like it too, I must admit!
One afternoon we went to a local exotic zoo for a mini safari tour. My favorites were the deer and zebras!
G seemed to enjoy the zoo at times, and other times he seemed a little fearful.
We had a swell time and hope to do it again next year!
