Party Wreath

I really like seasonal wreaths and the idea of a welcome wreath for parties is something I wanted to greet guests with. So, for Gavin's baby dedication I decided to make a wreath that I could use for it and future party events. I wanted something fun but also interchangeable.

I bought 1.5 yrds of fabric and a large straw wreath. I already had a wreath hanger and pins. First, I cut the fabric into strips a few inches wide and then attached strips by wrapping them around the wreath and securing with straight pins. This is sooooo super simple.  Other than being a cheap project that I know I will use this wreath was finished in 5 minutes! It's super fast and a great starting off point for building a fun wreath.

My plan is to customize it for parties by adding a ribbon or paper pennant to the center.

For example:
G's Train Party
And a Going Away Dessert Party we hosted

I keep this wreath in our coat closet and switch it out with our seasonal wreath anytime we have something special happening at our house.  I love it!
