Winter Projects - painting the master bathroom

A couple weeks ago I posted about our Winter Project list (here) and how it was a little overwhelming.

I am a pleased to say we have made great progress on it!   We had one of those rare weeks/weekends when stuff started to come together and gave us a boost of energy that projects can (and will!) get done!

Last week I made the roman shade for our bathroom (hip hip hooray) and we started some other minor projects. But, in typical If-you-give-a-mouse-a-cookie fashion, finishing the roman shade led to "it'd be better to go ahead and paint the bathroom before installing the shade." ; )
The bathroom window has looked like this, minus the drapes I took down to make the shade.  It even had those awesome paint strips on the wall from when I tested colors a year ago.
Here is where we are now.  We went with white.  It's leftover paint from the garage project so this was a free update!  Woohoo!

It already feels so clean and fresh.  And, as a bonus - this was our last room left to paint in the house!  Our plan is to finish painting this week and then hang the shade.

more to come...
