Krispy Kreme kids night

I've suspected it before, but G's high degree of orderliness was confirmed at our donut party with Ella.  The store gave him a huge box of crayons for coloring and dude only took one out at a time to color with, and then replaced it in its proper position before choosing another color.  As his mom, I'm a little excited I have such a conscientious helper as my oldest :))))

He is super excited - and we are super relieved.

 

Gavinator is becoming independent and says "I do it" or "Gavin help" (wanting to help me do something) many times throughout the day.   It both tests my patience and brings me lots of joy, all at the same time.  It is incredible how many things he really can do on his own.  And I'm trying to remember to choose joy, rather than speed, when I'm in a rush to get something done :)
