Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving in Austin
We spent Thursday in Austin and enjoyed a leisurely day together.  David is less fond of traditional Thanksgiving food so we decided to go a seafood route.  It was our first time to grill and then stove-top baste lobster.  We've talked for years about grilling lobster at home and finally took the plunge and did it... I expected it to be a bit of a hassle, or at least complicated.  It wasn't.  It was simple and delicious!

Thanksgiving in Fort Worth
Later that evening we drove to my sister and brother-in-law's house in Fort Worth.  My parents met us all there and we enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner all together on Friday.
After lunch little man was TIRED.  I clued in that he needed a nap but found it too precious to not first get a picture!
Cousin Josh had a similar idea
After naps the boys resumed their busy playing
Gavin discovered the kids' piano and it was the first time I caught him not sharing a toy... or rather, grabbing a toy away!  Cousin Jenni was a good sport about it!

Our group walked to the park that evening and enjoyed some fun times!

Thanksgiving in Purcell
On Saturday morning we drove to Purcell to see David's family and David and his dad went to the Oklahoma game.  We enjoyed some time with Great Grandpa and Grandma Smith!
And we took a family walk.  G sat in David's old baby stroller!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!!
