Dude is starting to look like a little boy. After all, he just turned 17 months!
Recently:
* Gavin can sing the chorus to 'Jesus Loves Me' (video coming soon!)
* He is standing up and walking on his own!!! The night before we left for Christmas Vacation he started standing independently and then a week later he was walking on his own. (video coming soon!)
* He will mimic lots of things we do. Most notably he will clear his throat any time he hears someone doing it. Test him, it's super funny!
* He has a new growl. It sounds like Darth Vader's breathing. I'm not a huge fan but it's growing on me. Soooo boyish!
* He has been chatty for a while but now he is regularly engaged in things and laughs a lot. I think he knows some of his jokes are funny since he will laugh after doing something silly. Things like this make him seem so much older.
* He is waving bye bye now!
He has started sporting crazy bed head hair
He loves to cuddle still! And seems to watch everything David is doing these days!
I like to put my shades on him to see his reaction :)
He is getting better about being gentle with our faces but still loves to grab our noses!
Wearing my red hat... and it fits him perfectly. Dude has a big head :)
Helping daddy organize work papers
He is my favorite sidekick
He loves cranberries
He has become a RASCAL! In addition to rolls of wasted toilet paper he has figured out how to spin around in carts. At first I thought it was cute he was interested in where we were going until...
I took a moment to look at greeting cards and caught him standing up. Moments after this picture he grabbed a bag in the cart and tossed it over the side. Then said, 'uh oh'...
We got home and the tricks continued
I have grown quite aware of his shenanigans this month and have to keep my eyes peeled at all times! He is more of a handful these days but also a lot of fun. He continues to have a wide range of expressions- some are very serious and others are melt-my-heart precious! It is awesome having this little guy in our family!
