Our dear sweet boy,
Your daddy and I think you are the bees knees. Having you is one of our greatest blessings and you are such a delight to us. I am regularly in awe of how similar you and daddy are - facial expressions, mannerisms, interests, tender hearts, love for sports, food preferences... it is so much fun to be your mommy. You are smart, diligent and very helpful. You are great with words and give wonderful hugs. We love how you ask to sit in our laps, even at meal time, and I will miss the days I can't pick you up and carry you. Yes, I still do. You are my baby after all ; )

early morning donuts with daddy, of course
When I asked G what he loves to do with daddy, he said,
"Go eat donus and hotdogs (kolaches)."
birthday picture ; )
I let him pick out wrapping paper for presents and also used it to wrap his door. My Grams and Grandpa Dick did the same thing for my sister and I when we were little and we LOVED it!
Dude chose to wear his firetruck shirt and fireman boots on his birthday. So of course, we planned to have a speical lunch out at Firehouse Subs.
Funny enough - earlier in the week we asked him what he wanted on his birthday cake. He was empahtic about a firetruck AND a crane. So I found it super awesome that he decided to wear his new consturction vest with his firetruck shirt all day. This boy sure knows what he likes!
After David got home we had a family dinner with cake and presents. And yes, G did get to the frosting when I wasn't looking... he is 3, after all.
I was soooo happy that he loved his birthday cake. He asked to eat the crane ; )
G loves firetrucks. So I searched for fire theme toys on amazon and found a firehouse. We felt like we'd struck gold! I am so happy that KidKraft makes a dollhouse for boys!!!
