Corbin :: 5 months

 

loves his brother, being held and looking out at the world, holding onto his toes, and singing with mommy (clapping his hands and waving his arms).

laughs when we play peek-a-boo, and when G plays with him. Corbin responds in the deepest belly laughs to he and Gavin's interactions.

rolling he is a rolling machine. He seems to prefer laying on his side to his back.
(strarted rolling 9-29)

movement changes directions and rolls to new locations. Can hold his held upright and steady. He is close to being able to sit without assistance.

pacifier C likes to chew on his hands, suck on his thumb, and will take a pacifier. He is also drooling a lot these days.

hair his beautiful blonde hair is starting to show signs of being wavy.  I am totally in love with that!  I love the idea of curly haired little dudes!

sleep he likes to roll onto his side or his belly. He also moves directions and locations all over his crib at night. He is still wrapped swaddle-like with a blanket. Sleeps, in general, from 8pm-6am, with a nap at 8am and later around 1pm. (his sleep schedule is still pretty fluid)
(moved to crib 9-22, started sleep training 9-26)

dislikes being overtired or brother popping him on the head

Baby, you are such a joy and sweet part of our family! We love you!

I love how different AND similar you are to big brother. And I feel like a first time mom all over again in getting to know and fall in love with you. We are so blessed to get to grow along with you. Even though, big brother was our 'guinea pig', I can't help but think you are just as much of a mystery, seeing how you too are knit so uniquely into who God has fashioned you to be. We pray that we can raise you to know and love the goodness of the Lord and honor the life he has planned for you.
