While in Oklahoma City we checked out the zoo with David's mom and sister, Anna.
It was a fun excursion and G enjoyed it. It was a habitat zoo so it'd be a neat place to take morning walks if we lived near by and had a zoo pass.
Our first stop was with to see the giraffes. Anna even fed them while G watched on cautiously.
My favorite part was the kid's area of the zoo. It had a cute garden area. Next time we will spend more time and visit the petting zoo, play grounds, and carousel!
G's favorites were the flamingos
and the lorikeet exhibit.
We had a great first trip to the zoo. I'm excited about going again in the future. By all accounts, this coming summer may just be my favorite one ever. Splash pads, zoo visits, and picnics with a munchkin are going to be awesome!
