Recently I had plans to be out of town and suggested to D that he and G work on a project that weekend. Seeing how G is a fun shopping buddy I thought it would be fun for them to go to the hardware store together and then make something. I'd heard of latch boards and David liked that idea so my two boys worked on their first joint effort!
They bought an assortment of latches and then spray painted some scrap wood before attaching the latches. David also left space on the board for adding a chain and more latches as he comes across them.
Little man loves it! And big man seems proud of himself too!
I love the handle on the top of the board and Gavin's favorite thing is the door spring... both of which D cleverly thought of : )
