Kitchen Mini-Update

Today I am painting some of the finishing touches in our kitchen.  We made a project list of things to complete between now and then end of November so hopefully we get lots of the little (but important) projects completed all around our nest.

 

So, during G's morning nap time I painted...

and painted...

 and painted some more.

So, all of our kitchen walls are painted!!!  Wohoo!

(yes, that is a patch on the ceiling... we are in the midst of replacing the lighting...)

  I look forward to the day when all of the cosmetic changes are complete and we can just look around and smile!

In other news, I bit the bullet and decided to turn this mirror

 into a chalkboard for the kitchen. 

I am super excited to get something hanging on the wall in our kitchen. And an extra bonus is that we have everything on hand, so this is $0 cost DIY :)

I'll post an update when the chalkboard is finished!
