This month...
* This month is mostly characterized by him rolling and back-scooting all over our home. He also enjoys sitting up to play with toys. (To enjoy sitting up is definitely a new thing for him!)
* He still loves his jumperoo! And taking naps in it!
* Our home has become his jungle gym.
* We have found him "stuck" quite a few times. It's so fun to watch him get himself into and out of a pickle!
* We took some pictures with wildflowers. Gavin was not a fan of much other than the dirt.
* He will smile for the camera now!!!
* He ate his first meats and crackers this month. He likes chicken but does not prefer beef. I have found he will eat anything we give him except beef and avocados. I think bananas are still his favorite!* He is also now eating solids at breakfast, instead of just for dinner. We are working on trimming down his milk intake; he has 5-7oz. bottles each day--a lot!
* His first babbling sounds was mamama. He has progressed to dada and recently bababa. I think he spoke them in opposite order from what is typical :)* His hair is getting so curly and lightening still. And, oh how I love it! With his dad's dark hair I did not think we would have a blonde baby! Also, D and I gave him his first haircut this month (He had a pile of hair on top and less everywhere else).
* He has started having some teething pains and likes to chew on burp cloths. It's sad to watch, but great that we have found something that gives him relief.
* He is still a sleeping champ, excluding the occasional nap strike. He takes a half hour morning nap and 2 hour afternoon nap. He sleeps 7:30 to 7 on a regular basis.
* I LOVE taking him on errands. He is the cutest little guy sitting in the cart and looking around. If there is a cart where I am going, he is the guy to bring--he makes it all so much more fun!
* At the end of the month he learned how maneuver onto his knees and rock back and forth.
