A few Tuesdays ago I caught Gavin being a trickster.
It was a big awakening to the new chapter he is in... becoming mobile!
Twice, I put him in one place and watched him move into another...
First, he tried to get out of his kick-n-play by flipping over and kicking a leg out.
(I'm terrible, but I've never used the little belts that come with these toys; now I understand why they are there.)
Then, later that same day I placed him in the boppy and within 30 seconds he wiggled himself down and rolled over away from it. Two additional times later that day he did the same maneuver to get out of his boppy. I think he may be trying to tell me he does not like it.
I told David about these incidents and how G is on the move. So we packed up his kick-n-play and have retired the boppy. Fast forward to Saturday when I come home and D tells me he left G on the couch for a minute to make a bottle and came back to find him no longer on the couch, but on the floor...

I'm thrilled to one day have him covered in mud, climbing trees, and bringing worms into the house in his pockets. But for now, he is rolling out of things and kicking water at us during bath time :)
