* He takes apart Oreos, studying each side before choosing which to eat first. I'm not sure how he picked up the habit.
* He loooooves pretzels. And, I do know how he picked up that habit. Daddy. It's their 'thing'; he runs to David whenever he hears the bag opening. Those 2 are pretzel fanatics : )
* He loves kiddo music and is always asking for "ma" (more).
* He can almost hold his fingers to "2". We are working on being ready for the impending milestone!
* He received a card from David's family that has a felt lamb on the front and picture of them inside. He loves pulling it off the fridge, rubbing the lamb and then sitting down and opening the card and looking at it. This is a daily occurence this month.
* He enjoys reading his alphabet book with daddy. His most favorite storybook is continues to be Roadwork.
* Any truck he sees during the week is 'daddy'.
* He smiles huge when D pushes him around in his car.
* He is very diligent about retrieving, as well as returning, his shoes to the shoe basket.
* Whenever the commercial for verizon comes on, where all the little kids are being interviewed, G will stop what he is doing to watch it and then claps at the end. It is pretty cute : )
* When he sees a kleenex box he will make a stuffed-up nose sound "asking" for his nose to be wiped. He is totally faking it, but it is a funny little quirk of his.
* He is my little buddy and errands are almost always more fun when he is with me. Except for the hardware store. There is something about it that makes him a crazy person.
* My favorite words he is saying this month: please (peas), help (helllll-p), shoes (whose), truck (tuck).
I found a kitchen on Craig's List a couple months ago and Sherlock Holmes found it in the garage when I was doing laundry. Once he knew where it was he would peer over in it's direction coyly anytime he'd be out there. Finally one day, he walked over to it and I asked him if he wanted the kitchen to be his toy and he smiled HUGE and bobbed his head up and down super fast! So, we decided to give it to him a month early.
It's the first toy he runs to in the morning and he continues to spend most of the day in his kitchen.
I can relate ; )
