Chair Photo - 7 Months Old!

Hey folks!

I'm 7 months old today!

Wait, could that be right?

These days, I enjoy lounging

and kicking
and I keep my tongue out almost all the time.
Yep! I've grown a lot!
And I'M 7 MONTHS OLD!

This month...

* His 2 bottom teeth broke though!
* He has started drinking water from a sippy cup.
* He had his first Boys Weekend with Daddy.

* He will pucker his lips in (rather than out).
* He still grabs onto his toes, which is one of my most favorite things to watch!
* His least favorite food is green beans and his favorite food is bananas. He busily licks his lips every time he has bananas. (This picture was the first day of bananas when he thought it was still a green beans day--poor guy!)

* This happened when I tried to take a picture of him as "Bowl of M&Ms". I think he may remember the pumpkin incident.

* My favorite times of day: first thing in the morning (and after naps) you are full of smiles, cuddling with you after your first bottle, tucking you in at night and watching Daddy pray over you, and finally--sneaking into your room with daddy to watch you sleeping before we go to bed. You are such an awesome gift!
* He took his first bath in the big bath tub!
* He is on the move. He kicks himself across the room on a regular basis. When we were in his bedroom hanging up clothes he kicked himself under his crib. Good thing I saw toes peeking out so I knew where he went!
* He made up his own baby sign language for milk/bottle. He shakes his right arm up and down; I noticed him mirroring me when I shake his bottle and then I started noticing that he does it every time he gets hungry and sees a bottle.
* He responds to the word "wait". For instance, he will stop rolling over or squirming around on his changing table.
* He pushes his head thru shirts and lifts his head off the mat when I take his shirts off.
* His hair seems to be curlier.
* He is doing a great job sitting up on his own.
* He lifts himself into the plank position.
* He babbles "mamamama" a lot!
* He smacks his lips and blows bubbles.
