Our most recent field trip was to Safari Champ. We met some MOPS buddies there for a morning of fun. G is a little young for most of the climbing involved but our group was the first to arrive that morning so the littles had it all to themselves for an hour befor bigger kiddos arrived. We will definitely go back to this place when little man is older.
For $3 dude had a play pass for the whole day and Safari Champ books talent to come entertain kiddos too. There was a cute clown (without the wierd face paint) who made balloon animals and had song time with the kiddos. Each child got a muscial instrument to play during the song time. I also think the climbing equipment and slides are pretty neato.
One extra perk- this place has a pretty impressive coffee bar. They also have fancy sandwiches and a case full of Amy's ice cream to scoop up if you want to go during lunchtime. If you have older kiddos this place could be a really neat idea for rainy days.
