Some things are worth making from scratch. Some things are best from the box. We do not eat a lot of desserts but just in case we have a hankering, I like to keep cookie dough in the fridge for a fast dessert!
Last night I was looking to make a quick meal but I wanted to add a little pizzaz to the frozen pizza I was baking and salad I was dressing. So, I made the skillet cookie for dessert! It's nothing fancy. It's easy to prep. And it's delicious!
You will need an oven-safe skillet.
Spoon in and smooth out the cookie dough.
Prepare your toppings.
I chose ice cream and fudge sauce.
For a party, try adding whip cream, nuts, sprinkles and a cherry!

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done.
Top it with ice cream and serve!
Delicious!
I used a 6 inch skillet; it could easily serve 2-4 people.
