22 Months

G is 22 months old and a card-carrying toddler boy.

When he didn't think I was watching he climbed on top of his picnic table.

And into his shopping cart.

I regularly find him curled up on the couch or in his room reading.  Truly, this is not staged.

He is taking a greater interest in puzzles and directed play activities.

Just recently he has started signing "more".  I did not teach him this and he can say, "more".  Yet he still resorts to say and signing it when he wants more food, tickles, kisses, or getting dropped onto the couch/his bed.  And even better, if he wants one more tickle/kiss/drop onto bed he will raise both his index fingers, for one, and hit his hands together, for more.  Oh, boy!  I really really really love that!

He loves splash pads!  Still pretty ambiguous about parks but he loves the water!

We visited a water park with his cousins and he loved the water slide.  He kept asking to go down it 'one more' time.  I love moments like that!!

He also-

* Can drink out of a cup

* Follows simple commands, like putting away toys or throwing something in the trash

* Says "peas" for please
* Says Daddy!

* Requests high fives
* Still has the most rascally expressions!
* (Unfortunately) has been known to bop a few kids on the head :(
* Will stop and say hi to any man he sees.

* His favorite toys are plastic plates, his water table, and books. 
*He treats his climber like a clubhouse, instead of a climber... one day he will lose his fear of slides.
