Speedy Spiral Pasta

There seems to be an endless variety of canned marinara on the market... what's your favorite? Often I will pick up a couple of different types of sauces to experiment. This recipe is simple, fast and yummy. I keep the noodles noodles and sauce in the pantry and meat in the freezer. If I have an onion I will add it, and usually I have fresh cheese to sprinkle on top :)

SPEEDY MARINARA & NOODLES

Ingredients

1 pkg of sprial noodles
1 pound of ground hamburger or 1/2 lb. ground sausage and 1/2 lb. ground hamburger
1 jar of marinara
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 cup of shredded mozzerella cheese

Directions
Boil spiral noodles until al dente. In a saucepan, saute onions, add sliced sausage or a ground sausage and hamburger mix. Cook meat thoroughly. Then, pour in the Cabernet Marinara. Allow to simmer. To kick up the heat, add a dash of cayenne pepper. Drain noodles, top with meat sauce and fresh shredded mozzarella.
